Apnaghar’s construction blueprints are clear, concise and detailed. All the blueprints are designed & drafted by Apnaghar’s professional team of architects and civil engineers. Each plan is designed to meet nationally recognized building codes. Each set may include the following elements:

  1. Floor Plans : Gives you the overview of Bedroom, kitchen, living room, drawing room, etc
  2. Front Elevations (2-D) – show the front, rear and sides of the house, including exterior materials, details and measurements.
  3. 3d- Perspective View- Show an imaginative look of designed home.
  4. Detailed Floor Plans with furniture Layout - Show the placement of interior walls and the dimensions for rooms, doors, windows, stairways, furniture etc. of each level of the house.
  5. Cross Sections - Show details of the house as though it were cut in slices from the roof to the foundation. The cross sections detail the construction of the home, insulation, flooring and roofing.
  6. Foundation Plans - Deliver drawings for a full, partial or daylight basement and/or crawlspace.
  7. Details Drawings of Doors, windows, Toilets and Kitchen - Show detail structure of kitchen & Toilet placement. Also shoe the detail placement of doors & windows
  8. Structural Design (Complete Set) - Deliver complete set of architectural drawing drafted by civil engineers. It includes Beam Details,Foundation Details, Foundation Plan, General Arrangement Of Beams, Reinforcement Detail at each Floor.
  9. Roof Plans - Provide the layout of rafters, dormers, gables and other elements including clerestory windows and skylights.
  10. Stair Case Detail Drawing- Show the right placement of stairs i.e. either internal or external or both.
  11. Electrical Layouts - Show the suggested locations for switches, fixtures and outlets (not included in JD plans).
  12. Plumbing Drawing - Show the water connections and drainage systems.
  13. BOQ - Average cost of project.
  14. General Specifications – Provide instructions and information of structural specifications, excavating and grading, masonry and concrete work, carpentry and wood specifications, thermal and moisture protection and specifications about drywall, tile, flooring, glazing, caulking and sealants.

Vastu – In Modern Home Plans



 Vaastu is the ancient Indian science that works on the principle of Panchbhootas, a term referring to the five basic elements of the universe: Earth, Water, Air, Fire and Space. Vaastu is the science that attempts to achieve a synergy across all the five elements in such a way that the abode becomes favorable to its inhabitants.
The optimum use of Vaastu concepts can help one achieve an atmosphere at home that is physically comfortable, emotional soothing and intellectually vibrant.
APNAGHAR has compiled a few Vaastu tips that can be use to enhance the positive effect of elements in various rooms of home plan. Vastu with technology is deadly combination to create a modern and comfortable home plan.
General                 
  • East is the most auspicious direction for entrance to a house.
  • The slope of the property should be from west to east or south to north.
  • Shadow of a tree should never fall on the house.
  • The north direction represents prosperity, and should never be blocked.
  • Cactus plant should never be grown in the house.
  • All doors should open towards inside.
  • Door hinges should be noiseless.
  • Columns in a building must be placed in even numbers in any construction.

Bedroom                              
  • The main bedroom should be constructed in the south-west direction.
  • The bed should never be placed below a beam.
  • Square and rectangle shape bedrooms are perfect for ensuring peace and prosperity.
  • Avoid hanging pictures that depict violence or sorrow.
  • Any reflective surfaces such as mirrors and televisions should be covered at night while sleeping.
  • Sleep with your head towards South.
  • Minimise clutter in your room as clutter represents the unfinished tasks of your life.
Living Room                         
  • The north direction is ideal for the construction of living room.
  • Vaastu advises against the use of paintings which depict negative aspects of life.
  • Air-conditioners should be in the west and not in the southeast section.
  • Southern and western corners of the room are perfect for placing the furniture.
  • Dining tables must have even-numbered chairs.
Kids' Room                           
  • Kids' room should be constructed in the northwest corner of the house.
  • The colour scheme should be mild.
  • Don't place the furniture sticking to the wall, as it obstructs the flow of positive energy.
  • The study desk should be placed in such a manner that the child faces eastern, northern or north-eastern corner while studying.
  • The computer should be placed in the southwest corner.
  • The ideal location of the kitchen is the southeast corner of the house, with northwest being the second best option.
  • Cooking activity should be done while facing east, as it's an auspicious direction. The other option is north direction.
  • Electrical items such as microwaves, juicers and mixers should be placed in the southeast corner of the kitchen.
  • The refrigerator should be in the northwest, southeast, south or west.
  • The kitchen must have adequate provision for cross-ventilation.
